Pogea Racing - Fiat 500 Ferrari Edition

Pogea Racing has released an incredible upgrade package for the special edition Fiat 500 Abarth 595 Ferrari that includes both performance and styling enhancements.

Pogea Racing believes the standard 180 hp of the special edition model is not enough, so they gave it another 100 hp. This means the total output of the Pogea Fiat 500 Ferrari gets up to 268PS and 330 Nm of torque. In a car this size, with front-wheel-drive, getting so close to 300 hp is pure madness.

The standard Fiat 500 Ferrari Dealers Edition makes a respectable 164-hp and 170 lb-ft of torque. Pogea Racing decided to take it a step further and added larger stainless steel exhaust system, modified downpipe, and a new catalytic converter. All those modifications allow for a total of 264-hp and a maximum torque of 243 lb-ft. For stopping power Pogea Racing upgraded the OEM brakes with their 4-piston brake assembly.

To add cooling to both the intake air, and to lower the combustion temperature, a modified Intake cooling system was created. A center-mount, larger, more efficient intercooler replaces the two smaller original intercoolers. Additional air is being pumped into the engine compartment to cool the accessories via the carbon fiber parts of the Assetto Corse. Fuel injection is optimized by changing fuel pressure valves and using upgraded Bosch fuel injectors.

With the added power comes upgraded four-piston caliper brakes.  Options available include an upgrade suspension, unspecified carbon fiber parts, and leather upholstery.  Taking a cue from the Ferrari 430 Scuderia, the car appears to be painted in the same Scuderia Red with grey race stripes around the venting on the hood.  Pricing on the Pogea Racing 500 package begins at €3400.

The mighty Italian - Fiat 500 FERRARI DEALERS EDITION with 268 PS

When there is a new project at Pogea Racing, one can be absolutely sure that everything is well studied to the smallest detail.

The hardest part of the development process was to avoid using a separate Tuning Box Unit. Unlike other "tuners", Pogea Racing starts with the OEM ECU of the Fiat 500 Abarth, instead of relying on a separate controller unit. Pogea Racing develops the software data to work directly with the vehicle's ECU. This assures that instructions that are sent from the ECU direct all normal functions of the car properly. An auxiliary unit cannot control all functions, and will ignore the vehicle's ECU's commands. Herein lies the principal difference between Pogea Racing's development and other Tuners.

Pogea Racing chose a very rare model, the Fiat 500 FERRARI DEALERS EDITION of Abarth. The standard engine is already relatively strong, coming with 165PS and 230Nm. Pogea Racing increases the performance of the small Italian model by adding 100hp on top of the standard engine, producing 268PS and 330 Nm total power. The Pogea Racing model was also measured and developed on one of the most modern all-wheel drive dynamometers. To get this power out of the mighty Italian car, they changed the exhaust system and replaced it with a larger stainless steel exhaust system, modified downpipe, and a new catalytic converter. The tailpipes can be chosen by the customer from many available Designs.

Power comes from the new hybrid turbocharger from Pogea Racing. Currently, there are two turbocharger variants that the customer can choose from. To add cooling to both the intake air, and to lower the combustion temperature, a modified Intake cooling system was created. For increased stopping power Pogea Racing upgraded the OEM Brake system with their 4-piston brake assembly. This detail is very important to Pogea Racing, and they developed a brake system with identical weight to the OEM brake system, but about 1,8m reduced braking distance when compared to the OEM brakes. You can round up the entire kit with TÜV Approval and with an optional warranty for engine, turbo, and transmission. Pogea Racing completes its tuning work exclusively at their headquarters in the center at the Bodensee.

Apart from the performance cure Pogea Racing also offers Assetto Corse Parts as legal TÜV Approved Parts dealer in Germany for the current models. The parts come directly from the factory in Italy. So now your Fiat can become optically at least a large Ferraristi, or even an image of the 100 PS Assetto Corse. Pogea Racing has other services; leather work, individual suspension systems, and carbon fiber parts can also be part of your individualization. BMW M5 "Hans Nowack Edition"

Nowack Motors have released an upgrade package for the BMW M5 which was dubbed as the Hans Nowack Edition to honor the retirement of the M V10 engine. The cars upgrades are mainly in the engine compartment but this modified M5 also received a couple of styling changes such as two bespoke air collectors painted to match the exterior color.

Named the N635S 5.8 Hans Nowack Edition, the 5.0L V10 pushes out 718-hp over the factory 507-hp and revs up to 9000 rpm. This engine conversion is available for all the M5s and M6s sporting the 5.0L V10, and Nowack offers a 12 month warranty with no mileage constraint for those opting to have the work done. So while BMW is pushing ahead with their twin turbo setups and abandoning the joy of torque-heavy V10s, Nowack motors continues to embrace and give current owners a new option to compete with the new technology.

MUGEN tuning parts now available at the Honda Dealerships across UK

The British division of Honda recently announced that eight of its dealers have just launched the Mugen Original Parts Programme, which comes to supply Honda owners with a range of tuning parts, accessories and merchandise from the company’s engine tuning partner.

The good news is that you’ll soon be able to cherry pick some of those parts for your own Civic and even the CR-Z hybrid because Mugen has struck an agreement to distribute tuning parts through eight Honda dealers in the UK.

The Mugen parts offered by Honda through this program include aluminum wheels, performance brake pads, quick shift kits and sports suspension and the new styling kit for the Civic.

Inden-Design Daihatsu Materia ICECUBE

German tuners Inden-Design is better known for their work on high-priced models from Ferrari and Mercedes.  The company is now branching out a bit, and turning their sites on the sub-€15,000 Daihatsu Materia.

Dubbed “ICECUBE”, the modification kit targets both the optical and the technical areas of the Japanese car. The vehicle wears a body kit consisting of an extension kit that covers 10 body parts (EUR 448), a new rear bumper with an integrated diffuser (EUR 448) and a set of daytime running lights (EUR230). The exterior pack is completed by carbon mirror caps, door handles and boot lid (EUR 1,200).

A carbon fiber trim package for the exterior mirrors, door handles and boot lid strip (€1,200), a lowered sport suspension kit from H&R (€780), a sport exhaust system with two polished tail pipes (€1,198) and 18-inch wheels shod in 215/35 tires up front and 225/35 at the back (€5,800) complete the exterior package.

As an option, Inden Design offers a 3-part wheel assembly with high-grade steel outer frames for a hefty price of 5,800 euros. In addition to the superior rims, a high performance sports exhaust system includes a catalytic converter with dual polished tail pipes for an extra 1,198 euros. The next modification in the line up of Daihatsu Materia parts is the H&R-sport helical differential gear, which can be purchased for 780 euros.

The Inden-Design Tuner has modified the new „ICECUBE" cars both from the optical and from the technical point of view at the same time. This resulted in the creation of the rough look. The ICECUBE Materia creates a convincing outfit by innovative design and exemplary functionality at a car tuning level.

With its VIP painting in white/mat (5,500 Euro), the Materia gives once again a clearly improved performance and very individual optics. But ICECUBE reaches its dynamical and powerful design due to the body kit. You can exclusively purchase the 3-part wheel assembly equipped with high-grade steel outer frames at Inden-Design for 5,800 Euro.

In addition, the rear end has been equipped with high-grade steel exhaust system and a catalyst converter with two polished end pipes for 1,198 Euro, which produce the corresponding sound for the optics.
The car handling of the „ICECUBE" becomes with H&R-sport helical differential gear (780 Euro) even more sporty. Due to the sport differential gear, maximum traction at all road conditions and therefore, of course, an optimal behavior on the road will also be reached.

But something has been positively changed from within as well. Many options in the interior like triangular mirrors, the central console, the door switch covering, the entrances and the B-column with real carbon in silver (1,450 Euro) are just some of a lot of features, making the life in the ICECUBE sportier. In addition, the speedometer shaft, the A-column and the door armrest have been trimmed with alcantara (680 Euro). There is also a high-quality loudspeaker system (1,200 Euro) with high frequency loudspeaker on front and rear doors - finally, a Phillips DVD-monitor incl. navigation system (1,298 Euro) demonstrates that this baby knows what's what. 2011 Saleen S302 debuts this weekend

The first Saleen vehicle launched this year, following the successful launches of the 435S and S281 in 2009, is the 2011 Saleen S302, which will make its official debut this weekend at the Carlisle Ford Nationals. Based on the 2011 Ford Mustang 5.0, the S302 is available in both coupe and convertible body styles

The performance machine is based on Ford’s latest 5.0-liter Mustang GT but picks up a performance air filter and exhaust to liberate a total 425 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and 395 pound-feet of torque at 4,250 rpm. Drive is sent rearward via a six-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential. Stopping power comes from 12.4 inch vented discs up front and smaller 11.8 inch discs out the back.

Exterior features include 20-inch, 7-spoke alloy wheels with Pirelli P-Zero high-performance tyres, a strong but elegant front grille and a simple integrated rear wing.

For its interior, the S302 has leather sport seats with Ultrasuede inserts, chevron-like Ultrasuede red tabs in the seatback bolsters, and it also offers unique treatments of the gauges, steering wheel, center console and shifter. Russian tuner TopCar has released more details regarding its Porsche Panamera Stingray. The company says three distinct versions of the powerful four-door will be made available. The first is the Black Matt Edition which comes finished in gloss black on the front lip spoiler, front bumper inserts, side skirts and rear diffuser among others.
